Welcome

Living in Japan or adjusting to a new life in Japan may be challenging. You may feel stressed out and may want to share your feelings and thoughts with someone supportive. Sometimes you may feel better after talking with your friends and family. However, there are other times when you may feel overwhelmed and have difficultly expressing your concerns with them. In such situations, it may be time to seek professional counseling services. With humor and compassion, I provide a warm and safe atmosphere where you may feel comfortable to share. Through a conversational process, I will collaboratively work with you to explore your concerns, feelings, and help you take charge of your life.

My practice focuses on treating adults with relationship issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, and more. I also work with couples and families. I utilize evidence-based treatments that may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems, and mindfulness-based approaches. I am also trained in EMDR therapy, which has been found to be an effective treatment for those who have experienced trauma. In working together, I will tailor treatment to fit your unique needs.

If you are looking for English language therapy services for yourself, someone you care about, or have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 022-341-0355 or info@dr-ozawa.com.
